7 Habits that can change your life

Exactly this time last year, I went through a phase. I was frustrated, Irritated and bored. Nothing excited me, and I knew I had to change something. Slowly, with a lot of effort I inculcated the below habits and after one year I can safely say that that was the best decision I ever took.
Read below and see if you can include the habits too. It won’t Hurt. I promise!

1. Get Up early: Seriously, this habit will change your life forever. I started doing this from last year and I was amazed how I could complete so many chores. If you know me personally you would know how lazy I can be, and life has always given me Jobs where I am not needed in the office early in the morning 😊 So, basically, I have always chilled. But this changed from last year and what a difference this has made left me speechless. Getting up early doesn’t mean you have to get up at 5 or 6 am. If you generally get up at 8, may be get up at 7 or 7:30 am.
2. Exercise: No matter whatever you want to do-Pilates, Yoga, Cross Fit, Gym or a casual walk. Just pick something and follow that religiously. You would be amazed how this will change your lifestyle.

3. Clean your workspace/room: Pick one day where you clean your Sh*t. Weather its washing your laundry, taking care of yourself-waxing, nails etcetera. It can be a Saturday or a Sunday if you are working Mon-Fri.

4. Prep your meal: Prepping your meal a day before or a week before will save so much of time. This habit really helped my hubby and I to get ‘we time’ after coming home from hectic 9-5 job.

5. Read-Read-Read: Just read. Read something. Anything. Newspaper. A fiction book in Kindle. A nonfiction. Just make it a point to read something even if it is for 15 minutes in a day. I was reading blogs on my way back home in the train and I just love that time in the day. I read all fun thing- Film reviews, general blogs on life, reviews on Makeup stuff.

6. Use Organiser- Having an organiser will help you in jotting down things you want to/need to/should be doing. There are so many organisers in the market. You can have professional, personal, meal prep organisers. I had been using just a plain notebook from Typo to organise stuff but have recently ordered a beautiful Kikki K leather organiser.

7. Don’t check social sites Often: Seriously I have been struggling with this one though. But I have found out that this eats all our time in the day. Also, on social sites it seems everyone is having fun, getting a new house, getting married, travelling. Basically, it feels like everything is rosy with others and life sucks this side. But this isn’t the case. Just concentrate on your life and don’t take anything on social sites too seriously.

Hope you can pick up at least one of the above habit. I strongly feel that this will have a good impact on your life 😊

Here is a picture of my reading corner for 7 days as I am road tripping across tasmania. This house is a beautiful little cottage overlooking the beach. Absolutely lovely!
